YONKERS – Two 18-year-old men have been charged with attempted murder in connection with the December 28, 2002 shooting of a man in Yonkers. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.
Following investigation, police arrested Ku-Shown Jefferson of Yonkers and Donte Ramsey of Mount Vernon.
Both were charged with attempted murder, attempted assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
A Glock 9mm handgun was recovered at the scene of the shooting. This month Mount Vernon Police recovered two illegally possessed handguns including one with a 30-round magazine.
