2022 home sales dip in Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors’ counties

MID-HUDSON – Single-family home sales in Hudson Valley county members of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors declined in 2022 when compared to 2021. At the same time, mean prices rose.

The greatest decline in sales was in Putnam County with a decline of 21.9 percent. The mean sale price, though, rose by 8.2 percent.

Rockland County followed by a 21.2 percent decline in sales, but a 10.6 percent increase in prices.

Westchester County saw a 17.8 percent in drop in sales, and a 7.2 percent increase in prices.

Sullivan County had a 15.8 percent decline in sales, while prices rose 8.7 percent.

Orange County sales dropped by 15.6 percent as prices rose by 11 percent.
