MONTGOMERY – A 33-year-old Wappingers Falls man was killed in a one-car crash on Route 211 near Canning Road in the Town of Montgomery on Tuesday, Montgomery Town Police Chief John Hank reported on Wednesday.
He identified the victim as Frank Richards, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident just before 2 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a vehicle had left the roadway and rolled over coming to rest on a lawn. Richards had been ejected.
Town police were assisted at the scene by State Police, Town of Montgomery EMS, Mobile Life Support Services, and the Montgomery Fire Department.
