MOUNT PLEASANT – State Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on Tuesday on the Sprain Brook Parkway north of Bradhurst Avenue in Mount Pleasant.
Initial investigation determined the victim was northbound on the Sprain Brook when he lost control of his 2002 BMW 330I. The vehicle entered the southbound lanes and struck a 2016 Jeep Patriot. The BMW then was hit by a southbound 2018 Nissan Versa.
The drivers of the Jeep and Nissan were transported to local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries. The BMW driver was transported to Westchester Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police did not release his identity.
The investigation into the crash is continuing.
