KINGSTON – The newly reimagined HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston is seeing patients effective on Wednesday.

The facility on Mary’s Avenue, with a new two-story, 79,000 square foot addition, also includes a 25,000 SF emergency care center, modern family birthing center and critical care area, advanced service cardiac catheterization laboratory, and 48,000 SF of refurbished space within the hospital footprint.

“With the investment of over $100 million into accessible health care right here in the heart of our city, the needs of our growing community are being seen and met,” said Mayor Steven Noble. “My role as mayor is to make sure that my residents have the services they need to live a vibrant, healthy life and that is not possible without a well-funded, well-staffed hospital system.”

Michael Israel, president of WMCHealth, the parent organization to HealthAlliance, said the new hospital “is “fulfilling our long-term commitment to transform the quality of care for residents of the Hudson Valley.”

The hospital’s other campus on Broadway adjacent to city hall, is being transformed into a health village with several outpatient services.
