RAMAPO – Following a six-month investigation, Ramapo Town Police arrested a 35-year-old Hillburn man on a charge that he embezzled over $95,000 from the Ramapo Valley Soccer Club.
Yan Garcia was charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
It is alleged that between 2020 and 2022, he stole the money from the club.
He was arrested on Friday, October 21, arraigned and released without bail pending a future court appearance.
