KINGSTON – A 36-year-old Saugerties man has surrendered to Ulster County Sheriff’s personnel at the county law enforcement center after he was wanted on three outstanding warrants.

David Smith was wanted by the sheriff’s office for a bench warrant from Ulster County Court for failing to appear last July related to a previous arrest by the Ulster County Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team in 2020.

He was also wanted by the State Police and Kingston City Police on unrelated misdemeanor charges in the Town of Ulster and City of Kingston from earlier this year.

Smith was arraigned on all warrants in county court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
