MOUNT VERNON – City Court Judge William Edwards passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. According to Mount Vernon Mayor Shawyn Patterson-Howard, Judge Edwards has served as a judge for nearly two decades.
” I am deeply saddened by the sudden and untimely passing of Judge William Edwards today,” the mayor said.
“I had the personal privilege to work with Judge Edwards in the City’s Drug Court and bear witness as he presided with charisma, passion, and most importantly, compassion for the residents of Mount Vernon,” said the mayor.
