POUGHKEEPSIE – A 24-year-old man was arrested after the Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force executed a federal arrest warrant in the city on Friday. The arrest is part of an investigation into a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Morgan Avenue in the City of Poughkeepsie on April 13, 2022.
Isaiah “Radio” Williams, a parolee and self-proclaimed member of the Bloods street gang was arrested in part of an ongoing investigation by City of Poughkeepsie Police detectives and the task force. An illegal handgun was also recovered by law enforcement.
Williams was charged with a violation of federal weapons charges. He was arraigned in Southern District Federal Court and remanded without bail.
