Several Poughkeepsie City patrol units were dispatched to Corlies Avenue for a report of shots fired. No victims were located; however, a canvass of the area led to the discovery of several shell casings and bullet damage to an occupied residence.

Crime scene technicians responded to the area to collect evidence.
