WURTSBORO – A Sunday evening ATV accident in Wurtsboro sent two people to the hospital.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., the Summitville Fire Department and Town of Mamakating EMS were dispatched to an address on Red Hill Road for an ATV rollover accident with two individuals found unconscious.
First responders located the victims who had both sustained head injuries, officials said. Both patients were transported to an area trauma center for treatment. The names of the victims and their current condition were not immediately available.
The Summitville Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Wurtsboro Fire Department, Town of Mamakating EMS, Rock Hill Ambulance, Mobile Medic paramedics, and the State Police.
