WOODSTOCK – State Police are investigating a burglary that took place in the  Woodstock area of Ratterman Road and Route 375 at approximately 3:40 p.m. on Monday, June 27. Two persons of interest have been identified.

One is described as a dark-skinned woman wearing a hijab who was seen operating a Segway in the area just prior to the burglary. The second person is described as a Hispanic man, approximately 5’7”, 140 pounds, wearing a gray and white baseball hat, t-shirt, and pants.

According to the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, which is assisting the state police, “It is believed that these two individuals are working together and that the female approaches residences to see if the homes are occupied before the Hispanic male gains entry.”

At two residences, the homeowner answered the door and after a brief conversation, the female left the area.

If anyone has any information regarding those two individuals they are asked to contact Investigator Jennifer Johnson at (845) 802-9293 or by email at jennifer.johnson@troopers.ny.gov.
