Two-vehicle accident shuts down Palisades Parkway in Thiells

THIELLS – An incident on the Palisades Interstate Parking in Thiells around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday resulted in southbound traffic coming to a grinding halt.

One vehicle was reported to have rolled over and a second one having caught fire.

One person was briefly trapped in the burning car but was extricated within five minutes.

The conditions of the drivers were not immediately known.
