Death of man in Newburgh was not suspicious, city police say

NEWBURGH – The death of a 63-year-old man whose body was found in a garage in the area of East Parmenter and Liberty streets in the City of Newburgh on May 31 does not appear to be suspicious in nature, police said Friday.

When the body was discovered, city police processed the scene and now said following further investigation, the circumstances of the death do not appear to be suspicious.

The identity of the man is not being released in respect for the family.

Police are looking for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
