Poughkeepsie business recognized as an “American Dream” success story

POUGHKEEPSIE – A family-owned business in the City of Poughkeepsie is gaining national attention and will be featured on an upcoming episode of “The American Dream” television show.  The story of LCS facility Group (LCS) and founder Joe Lepore will air on the Bloomberg Network on Saturday, April 30.
“The American Dream is a show that inspires its audience by telling the story of humble beginnings by delving into each entrepreneur’s journey into building their brand,” according to the show’s website.
From its headquarters in Poughkeepsie to its four national offices, LCS has been recognized as a leader in the facilities industry. The company was established by Joe Lepore in 2001 with one van and four employees.  The company has grown to employ hundreds of staff and has expanded beyond facility management to include a multitude of services such as hospitality and stewarding services, construction support, and temporary staffing.
The American Dream is a nationally broadcast series and has featured stories of KFC, Jersey Mike’s, and Royal Caribbean. “This recognition is a testament to hard work and the power in believing not only yourself but those who believe in you along the way,” said Joe Lepore on being recognized as an “American Dream” success story.
