FISHKILL – The Town of Fishkill’s comprehensive plan is more than a decade old and municipal officials would like to hear what direction residents would like to seek the town move in going forward.

They are now conducting a survey seeking public input about the future of the town, said Supervisor Ozzie Albra.

“It’s going to be an update to the comprehensive plan that was done about 15 years ago, so it’s not a total comprehensive plan, it’s an update to it,” he said. “We’re looking more to see what the residents of Fishkill want to take direction in Fishkill in the future – development, traffic, what their concerns are, what they would like to see in the community,” he said.

The update is online here.

An appointed master plan update committee will incorporate resident ideas and concerns in their final report to the town board.
