WHITE PLAINS – A 31-year-old Montgomery has been charged in a superseding federal indictment in a conspiracy to commit several armed robberies of suspected drug dealers and drug runners in Orange County, the Bronx and Hartford, Connecticut.

It is alleged that Patrick Chellel “organized and directed a violent conspiracy to rob suspected drug dealers and associates at gunpoint,” said US Attorney Damian Williams. “Chellel and his robbery crews engaged in serious acts of violence and sophisticated methods to track their victims, including a hidden Apple Watch on a victim’s car.

Among the allegations against Chellel, along with Darren Lindsay, 31, he organized a plan to rob suspected drug dealers at their residence in the vicinity of Mount Hope.

Also charged in the superseding indictment are Antoine Koen, 30, Robert Ojeda, 31, Onitayo Are, 29, and Patricia Konco, 32.

If convicted, they all face lengthy prison terms with Chellel facing up to 20 years in prison.
