DOVER – A 17-year-old youth has been charged with armed burglary for breaking into a residence on Lime Kiln Road in the Town of Dover while armed with a knife. The incident occurred shortly after 4 a.m. on Friday, January 7.
The boy, whose name was not made public because of his age, was arrested on the scene after the homeowner detained him until state troopers arrived.
The teen was arraigned in Dutchess County Court Youth Part and sent to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
