Dutchess County municipalities to distribute COVID test kits Wed. and Thurs.

DUTCHESS COUNTY – A number of Dutchess County municipalities will be distributing COVID-19 home test kits on Wednesday and Thursday.  Persons must reside in the municipality that is issuing the free test kits.

On Wednesday, January 5, at 2:00 p.m., the Town of Wappinger will be distributing a limited number of test kits obtained from NYS.  All kits will be distributed at Wappinger Town Hall at 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls.  Proof of residency is required.

The Village of Wappingers Falls will be distributing its own supply of kits exclusively to residents of the village on Thursday, January 6 at 9:00 a.m. at Village Hall on South Avenue.

The Town of Hyde Park will be conducting a drive-thru distribution of test kits on Thursday, January 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The limited number of test kits will be distributed to Hyde Park residents in the parking lot of Regina Coeli Church on Route 9 in Hyde Park.  Motorists will be directed to the site by a Hyde Park Police Officer stationed on Route 9.  Proof of residency is required, according to Councilman John Lombardi.
