SAUGERTIES – A 24-year-old Saugerties woman has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of a property damage auto accident.
The December 26 incident occurred on Washington Avenue in the Village of Saugerties.
Witnesses told police a blue Dodge pickup truck with extensive frontend damage had left the scene of the crash. Officers located it further down Washington Avenue.
Following an investigation, police charged Terrie Ann Lawless, who was processed and released pending a future court appearance.
