Brooklyn man busted for drug possession in Ulster County

KINGSTON – The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Brooklyn man on drug charges following a traffic stop on Route 208 in the Town of Wawarsing.

Tony Jordan, 43, was stopped at about 11:30 p.m. on December 5. Investigation led to him being charged with a felony of criminal possession of a forged instrument and a misdemeanor of drug possession.

It is alleged that he was driving while in possession of MDMA and with two forged temporary license plates.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.

Village of Ellenville Police assisted sheriff’s deputies with the arrest.
