New York City resident arrested for stealing $240,000 from Rockland bank

TOWN OF RAMAPO – Following a two-month investigation, Ramapo Town Police arrested a 28-year-old New York City man on a felony charge of grand larceny.

Police said with larcenous intent, $240,000 was stolen from a local bank.

The suspect, who police did not identify on a Facebook post, was arraigned and released on his own recognizance as the offense does not qualify for bail under state law.
