Former Armonk attorney indicted for stealing over $3.5 million from clients

WHITE PLAINS – A former Armonk real estate attorney was indicted by a Westchester County grand jury for stealing over $3.5 million from eight clients she represented between 2017 and 2021.

Laurieanne DeLitta, 50, of Briarcliff Manor is charged with eight counts of grand larceny and two counts of unauthorized practice of a profession, all as felonies.

District Attorney Miriam Rocah said according to the indictment, DeLitta stole over $3.5 million from eight individuals and estates.

She was also charged by the grand jury with two counts of practicing law without a license.

The DA’s Office of Criminal Investigators made the arrest.
