Dear Editor:

Ben Amundson is running for Wappinger Town Board in Ward 1. Ben is against building a gas station in historic Hughsonville. In fact, he wants to reverse the zoning law change that allowed gas stations to be placed in residential areas. Ben will fight to protect your air and water from the pollution caused by gas stations.

He also wants to use some of the town’s surplus funds to build a dog park and a public running track. Ben believes the money should be used to improve the community outlined in the Town’s Comprehensive Plan, not to give backroom deals to businesses that do not care about our town.

If you agree please vote for Ben on Tuesday, November 2 from 6 AM to 9 PM. Or you can early vote from Oct 23-31 at the Fishkill Town Hall or Boardman Road Library. Please remind your friends, family, and neighbors in Wappinger to vote as well!
