LAGRANGE – A large fight erupted in the parking lot of Arlington High School Friday night after a football game between Arlington and Scarsdale high schools. Police communications indicate that at least three people were stabbed.

Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) deputies were assigned to the school for the game.  After the game, a large gathering of people began fighting and there were reports of multiple victims with stab wounds.  One victim, reportedly a 16-year-old, was critically wounded and CPR was in progress.  Multiple patients were transported to Mid Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie.

Deputies called for any available police units to respond to the scene, bringing a large response from State Troopers, DCSO, Town and City of Poughkeepsie Police, and other agencies.  A second dispatch called for available K9 units to the high school.  A City of Poughkeepsie police K9 unit responded.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. multiple Town of Poughkeepsie Police were directed to Mid Hudson Regional Hospital to secure the facility as numerous vehicles began arriving at the hospital, claiming that they were related to the victims of the high school incident.
