Man charged with stealing tools from Home Depot

TOWN OF FISHKILL – A Wappinger man has been arrested by the Town of Fishkill Police after a month-long investigation into a theft of tools from the Home Depot in Fishkill.

According to Police Lieutenant Paul Schettino, town detectives have arrested 36-year-old Ryan Conboy of Route 376 in Wappingers Falls at his home on Thursday, September 9 and charged him with felony grand larceny for allegedly stealing $1,400 in tools from the Fishkill Home Depot.

Conboy was released on an appearance ticket returnable in Fishkill Justice Court.

Schettino said that detectives are continuing an investigation into similar larcenies at other area Home Depot locations.
