POUGHKEEPSIE – Police in the City of Poughkeepsie are investigating a stabbing incident that is believed to have happened near Main and North White Streets on Monday afternoon. The victim is being described as “uncooperative” by police.
A representative from MidHudson Regional Hospital contacted city police on September 6, at about 3:45 p.m. to report that a 32-year-old man had arrived at the hospital with a stab wound. Patrol units and Crime Scene Technicians arrived at the hospital where they encountered the uncooperative victim who declined police assistance.
The victim’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening, according to the police.
