ALBANY – Another 384 residents of the Hudson Valley/Catskills have come down with COVID-19 in the last day, according to the State Health Department.
One additional resident, from Rockland County, died from the virus.
Statewide, 4,147 residents tested positive on Sunday, bringing the total since the pandemic broke out to over 2.2 million people.
The health department reported 43,551 people have died as reported by hospitals, nursing homes, and adult care facilities only.
Deaths reported to and compiled by the CDC totaled 55,533 and represent provisional death certificate data including those who died in any location, including hospitals, nursing homes, adult care facilities, at home, in hospice and other settings.
