NEW YORK – A new HBO Max series, “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin,” will be filming in the Hudson Valley from August through January and is in need of hundreds of paid extras.

Filming will take place in Saugerties, Catskill and Hudson.

Castifi is currently looking for men and women, ages 18 to 35, as paid background actors for the duration of filming.

All who are booked must receive a mandatory COVID test before working.

The theme of the movie is described as 20 years ago, a series of tragic events ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now in the present day, a group of disparate teen girls – a brand-new set of Little Liars – find themselves tormented by an unknown assailant and made to pay for the secret sin of their parents committed two decades ago… as well as their own.

In the dark, coming-of-rage, honor-tingled drama, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, we find ourselves miles away from Rosewood, but within the existing Pretty Little Liars universe – in a band-new town, with a new generation of Little Liars.

Persons interested in becoming a paid background actor for the movie should create a profile at www.castifi.com/talent .

Pay for SAG-AFTRA members is $182 per eight hours plus overtime, and for non-union is $15 per hour plus overtime at 1.5 times ($22.50 per hour).
