KINGSTON – Westchester Medical Center Health Network is changing the face of hospital care in areas of the Hudson Valley.

At the Health Alliance facilities in Kingston, work is progressing at its two campuses, noted Westchester Network President Michael Israel.

“We are doing a conversion of the Mary’s Avenue hospital. We are building a new hospital attached to that and in about year we will open up a state-of-the-art hospital and we are taking the old Broadway facility and we are converting it into a medical village. So these are being done up and down the Hudson Valley,” he said. “In addition, within the past couple of weeks we dedicated the new interventional cardiac cath lab, the first in Ulster County.”

Westchester Network is also the parent organization to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie and the Bon Secours Charity Network’s three hospitals – St. Anthony’s in Warwick, Bon Secours in Port Jervis and Good Samaritan in Suffern.
