COLD SPRING – A 17-year-old Newburgh girl drowned while swimming in the Hudson River at the Little Stony Point Park in Cold Spring, State Police report.
The victim was identified as Yesvely Lopez, who was reported missing while swimming in the lake shortly after 6 p.m. on June 29.
Her body was located on July 3 at about 5:44 p.m. near the Dock Side Park in Cold Spring.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
