POUGHKEEPSIE – The State Department of Transportation is advising motorists to expect single lane closures along eastbound Interstate 84 between Exit 50 (Lime Kiln Road) in the Town of East Fishkill and Exit 69 (Route 6/22 and Route 121) in the Town of Southeast from Monday, June 28, through approximately Thursday, July 1, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., to accommodate bridge maintenance, weather permitting.

Motorists should anticipate delays and plan accordingly.

Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.  Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver’s license.
