SAUGERTIES – A 21-year-old Saugerties man has been charged with assault following an attack on another man on Washington Avenue in the Village of Saugerties.
Just before midnight on May 11, Korey Taylor allegedly approached another man who was walking on Washington Avenue and suddenly jumped and assaulted him.
The victim was knocked unconscious during the attack and sustained facial injuries.
An investigation led Saugerties Police to arrest Taylor on a warrant. He was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail where he had already been incarcerated.
