LAGRANGE – Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an attempted burglary on Cramer Road Thursday morning. The residents were at home at the time.
Deputies responded to 112 Cramer Road at 4:45 a.m. after receiving a call from the homeowner regarding an intruder.
Initial reports say that the homeowner was awakened by a noise in his residence. When he went to investigate, he found a man in his house.
The uninvited guest fled from the house before deputies arrived.
The investigation is ongoing.
