Town councilman, former drug store owner arrested on drug charges

THOMPSON – Scott Mace, a Thompson Town councilman and challenger to Town Supervisor Bill Rieber in the November, has been arrested by State Police and charged with felony drug possession charges.

The former owner of the Rock Hill Pharmacy was also charged with falsifying business records.

Mace, who has been a town board member for 10 years, may be dropping out of the supervisor’s race as a result of his arrest.
