BARDONIA – After being rear-ended by a truck at the intersection of Pomona Road and Route 304 in Bardonia on Friday afternoon, a school bus lost control and crashed into a utility pole, trapping the driver inside. There were no passengers onboard.
The Nanuet Fire Department and Nanuet Ambulance Corps were able to successfully extract the driver, who was rushed to an area hospital and is in stable condition, according to authorities.
An Orange and Rockland Utilities was called to the scene to check for any damage to the power lines.
