Port Jervis man arrested for possessing crack cocaine, fentanyl

PORT JERVIS – A Port Jervis man has been remanded to the Orange County Jail without bail on felony drug charges.

Port Jervis Police arrested Kareem Valles, 45, on West Main Street at 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23. Police determined he was in possession of a significant quantity of crack cocaine and fentanyl.

He was charged with felonies of drug possession with intent to sell as well as criminal possession of drugs, and misdemeanors of drug possession and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

According to police, he was in possession of 32 grams of crack cocaine, six grams of fentanyl, a quantity of alprazolam tablets and $1,500 in cash.
