Gunfire wounds one in Newburgh

NEWBURGH – Shots rang out in the City of Newburgh Tuesday evening.

Police radio transmissions indicated shots were fired near 50 Benkard Avenue.

Later, an individual walked into the emergency room of Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital with a reported gunshot wound.

No other details were immediately available.
