WARWICK – Fiorello Pharmaceuticals wants to develop a 400,000-square-foot facility to grow, process, manufacture, and wholesale cannabis products at the Warwick Tech Park.

A representative of the company briefed members of the newly appointed Orange County Industrial Development Agency Board about their proposal on Wednesday.

Rebecca Brown told the members that they will hire 100 employees to start and  more than 200 in year five of their development. We try hard to hire people who will grow with us, people who have an interest but maybe don’t have a specific skillset in the cannabis space; that’s okay. We can work with a variety of different experiences and provide training on the job and opportunity for advancement to supervisor and managerial levels,” she said.

The company is seeking a PILOT agreement as well as sales tax and mortgage tax filing fee exemptions.
