PELHAM – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a delivery van in the southbound lanes of I-95 just north of exit 14 in the Town of Pelham early Monday.
State Police said preliminary investigation determined the pedestrian was struck at about 5:12 a.m.
An FDNY ambulance initially responded and treated the pedestrian, who was declared dead at 5:35 a.m.
The driver of the delivery van was not injured.
Police will release additional information as the investigation progresses.
