Plane skids off Westchester Airport runway

WHITE PLAINS – The pilot of a small plane sustained minor injuries when it skidded off a runway at Westchester County Airport on Saturday afternoon.

The pilot was the only one onboard the plane when the incident occurred around 3 p.m.

The runway was shut down for about an hour.

The cause of the accident was under investigation.
