Man suffers gunshot in Newburgh

NEWBURGH – A man was reported to have been shot in the City of Newburgh Saturday evening.

Around 6:30 p.m., police investigated a report of shots fined with a window shot out at 78 Benkard Avenue. A short time later, a man with a gunshot wound was brought to the hospital.

It was not immediately known if the two incidents were related.
