TOWN OF WALLKILL – State Police are continuing their investigation into a fatal incident on eastbound Route 17 in the Town of Wallkill Tuesday morning in which a pedestrian was struck and killed.
Police said an unidentified man was struck by a tractor-trailer as he walked along the shoulder and stepped into the right lane of traffic at 6 a.m.
Troopers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or anyone walking along Route 17 around that time to call them at 845-344-5300.
