RHINEBECK – Because of the rise in COVID-19 cases in Dutchess County, all in-person meetings at Rhinebeck Village Hall have been suspended.

The restriction applies to all offices – mayor, village clerk, water clerk, treasurer, building-planning and zoning.

The court, which is currently mandated to continue, and village police, will continue as normal.

All public meetings including village board, planning board and zoning board of appears will be held remotely.

Mayor Gary Bassett said the measures have been put in place until further notice to protect staff.

Anyone wishing to contact village personnel can call, use Microsoft Teams Web Meeting or Microsoft chat.

All water/wastewater payments and court fees/fines may be paid using the drop box or service window beside the entrance to village hall.
