ROME – State Police are investigating the murder of a Milton man at the Red Carpet Inn in Rome, New York on November 15.
Troopers said Benjamin Davis, 28, was staying at the motel at 799 Lawrence Street in the outer district of Rome.
An autopsy by the Onondaga Medical Examiner’s Office determined he had been shot several times.
The incident is believed to have occurred around 12:15 p.m. He died later as a local hospital.
The investigation is being conducted by State Police along with Rome Police and the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
