WHITE PLAINS – A 56-year-old Haverstraw woman has been charged with grand larceny in connection with the theft of more than $390,000 from Eileen Fisher, Inc., of Irvington, her former employer.

It is alleged that Catherine Johnson was employed as an accounts payable manager with the company and over a seven-year period from August 24, 2012 to August 26, 2019, she stole approximately $391,120 by making personal credit card charges on her corporate credit card which were then paid by the company. She allegedly diverted funds directly into her own personal bank account by writing unauthorized checks to herself or to cash; and by making checks payable from an Eileen Fisher account to pay her own personal credit card bills and mortgage.

She was released on her own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
