HUDSON – A 30-year-old City of Hudson man was arrested by city police following a bicycle chase between the man and a bike patrol officer.

It began late in the morning on October 3 where Ntchota Badila, also known as “Drippy,” was chased by the officer after he allegedly stole personal items from a car.

It was also discovered that Badila had an active felony warrant for felony possession of stolen property on a stole motor vehicle complaint.

Officer Duntz, whose bike was rammed by the suspect, sustained minor injuries and his uniform, body camera and bicycle were damaged.

Badila was released on his own recognizance and later arrested by Town of Greenport Police on the stolen car charge. He was released following arraignment.
