VILLAGE OF FISHKILL – Reports of a fire in a Fishkill apartment complex brought several fire departments to the inferno Sunday morning.
At 11:21 Sunday, the Fishkill fire department responded to the call at 1300 Max Way, building 13, and confirmed the fire and requested a 2nd alarm to bring additional departments and manpower to the scene.
The fire burned through the roof in several locations. Joining Fishkill in the efforts were the Rombout, City of Beacon, East Fishkill, Hughsonville, New Hamburg, and Wappingers Falls fire departments.
East Fishkill, Glenham, and Beekman fire departments relocated or placed on standby to provide coverage.
Representatives from the Dutchess County Fire Investigation Division, Mobile Life Support Services, and Central Hudson assisted at the scene.
