PEARL RIVER – Orange and Rockland Utilities’ personnel will be at two locations today, August 6, to provide free ice to customers whose electric service was knocked out by Storm Isaias.
The locations and times are:
Rockland County
Palisades Credit Union Park (Boulder Stadium)
Pomona
Wet ice from 9 a.m. to noon
Orange County
Toys R Us
Town of Wallkill
Dry ice from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The company is following safety guidelines issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control for COVID-19 and asks that customers practice social distancing with other members of the public and the Rockland Electric Co. employees at the location. That will help ensure that everyone remains safe during the health crisis.
