NEW PALTZ – Choice Words LLC is launching a program for nonprofit organizations with operating budgets of under $200,000. The New Paltz-based company typically provides services to larger nonprofits but has recognized the need for its services to assist smaller organizations in developing an effective grants program.

Choice Words Grant Program for Small Nonprofits will support emerging organizations and those hit particularly hard by the COVID pandemic,” says company president Steve Densmore.

Steve Densmore of Choice Words LLC.

Qualified organizations will work with Choice Words associate grant writers to identify funding opportunities and to obtain support in developing language and budgets for pursuing fundraising goals. The program allows for customizable packages where clients can create their own plan for fundraising assistance, choosing services based on needs and feasibility with the opportunity to apply add-ons from a menu of options.

The basic package includes an initial consultation to determine if the grant program for small nonprofits is appropriate based on the organization’s needs and goals. A comprehensive funder search is then initiated to provide the most up-to-date and relevant funding opportunities. Choice Words associate grant writers will assist with application development and alternative fundraising strategies tailored to an organization’s needs. The custom add-ons include marketing and communications expertise applied to promotional materials, social media, community engagement, web presence, branding, and ongoing communications.
